By accessing or using the Migration Cat service ("Service") operated at www.migrationcat.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Migration Cat provides a network configuration migration tool that converts device configuration files from one vendor format to another. The Service uses automated processing to analyse source configurations and generate equivalent configurations for the target platform.
The Service is provided on a credit-based model. Users purchase credits which are consumed when performing configuration migrations.
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.
Credits are purchased through our payment processor, Stripe. All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Each migration consumes one (1) credit. Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
Purchased credits are generally non-refundable. However, if a migration fails due to a system error (not due to invalid input or unsupported configuration), we will restore the consumed credit to your account. Refund requests for unused credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of purchase.
We reserve the right to modify credit pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect credits already purchased. We will provide reasonable notice of any pricing changes.

You retain ownership of all configuration files you upload to the Service. By uploading files, you grant us a limited licence to process them solely for the purpose of providing the migration service.
You are solely responsible for the content of the configuration files you upload. You represent that you have the right to upload and process these files and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or confidentiality obligations.
We recommend removing sensitive credentials (passwords, SNMP community strings, API keys, shared secrets) from configuration files before uploading. While we implement security measures to protect your data, you upload files at your own risk.
The migrated configurations generated by the Service are provided as a starting point and should be reviewed and validated by a qualified network engineer before deployment to production environments. We do not guarantee that migrated configurations will be error-free or fully compatible with your target devices.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Migration Cat and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Migration Cat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Migration Cat, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any unused credits at the time of termination for cause are forfeited.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
